How we gave an outdated kitchen some much needed love.
Every kitchen renovation makes a difference for the homeowner, but this facelift for Channel 9’s Space Invaders was really special.
Smart Kitchen Facelifts modified the fridge space to make room for a larger fridge, replaced the appliance cabinet with a wall microwave to maximise bench space, and replaced all doors and hinges for a fresh, modern look.
We also repaired water damage around the sink area, replaced the outdated laminated benchtops, installed a new sink, tap, oven and cooktop, and stripped the walls to be retiled.
The original space was old-fashioned and hard-to-use, with poorly positioned appliances. The facelift was completed in just two days — giving the homeowners the bright, spacious kitchen they’d always dreamed of.
